2024-2025 Navy League of Canada- Kamloops Branch
Annual General Meeting
When: Tuesday September 24th, 2024 at 6:00 pm
Where: 169 Briar Avenue (Portable), Kamloops, V2B 1C2
The Navy League of Canada- Kamloops Branch is the support committee for 137 Royal Canadian Sea Cadets and 102 Prince Robert Navy League Cadets of Canada. Our function, as a branch, is to maintain the finances of the corps, fundraise, help with awards, recruitment of both cadets and officers, and more.
There is an annual membership fee of $5.00* per person to be a voting member of the branch. Members will be issued a membership card at time of payment. We invite and encourage any member of the community that would like to participate, to come out and join us.
The main order of business at this meeting will be electing the new executive. All positions are up for nomination, and will be voted on. Nominations can be sent in confidence via email below or prior to the meeting from 6:00pm - 6:15pm.
There are 5 executive branch positions available:
President, 1st Vice President - Sea Cadet Liaison, 2nd Vice President - Navy League Liaison, Secretary, and Treasurer
And 4 coordinator positions:
Volunteer Screening Coordinator, Awards and Services Coordinator, Fundraising and Events Coordinator, Communications and Social Media Coordinator

Expectations of Branch Executive and Members
All voting branch members are expected to attend our monthly meetings. All voting members must also complete a volunteer screening, including a vulnerable sector criminal record check. Members are also asked to attend and/or contribute to all fundraising efforts put on by the Branch.
