The Derwent Valley and Central Highlands Tourism Association (DVCHTA) is a local tourism association funded by memberships and managed by an elected committee of volunteers. It is supported by and works in collaboration with regional tourism association Destination Southern Tasmania.
Incorporated and renamed in late 2022, its predecessors were the Rivers Run Tourism Association (c2004), the Derwent Valley Tourism Association (2014) and Derwent Valley Tasmania (2016).
Our goal is to increase the profile of our region and to create a unified regional brand that local business operators and the community value and are proud to advocate and leverage. We are focused on working together to make the Derwent and Highlands a destination of choice for local, domestic and international visitors.
