Aggie Murph Challenge 2025: Honor. Sacrifice. Service.

The Aggie Murph Challenge 2025 is a high-energy, community-driven fitness event honoring the legacy of Lt. Michael P. Murphy, a fallen Navy SEAL who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Hosted by the Texas A&M Class of 2027, this event challenges participants to push their limits, test their endurance, and give back—all while supporting Mighty Oaks, an organization dedicated to assisting veterans and service members.

Whether you’re an elite athlete or just looking to challenge yourself, this event is for you! With competitive, non-competitive, and team options, you can participate in a way that suits your fitness level and goals.

Challenge Format

Participants will complete the Murph workout, a fitness challenge inspired by Lt. Murphy’s legendary training routine:

🏃 1-mile run

💪 100 pull-ups

💥 200 push-ups

🏋️ 300 air squats

🏃 1-mile run

Participants can scale or modify the workout based on their fitness level. For those seeking an extra challenge, a weighted vest (20 lbs for men, 14 lbs for women) can be worn to replicate the conditions under which Lt. Murphy trained.

Divisions & Participation Options

✔️ Competitive Division – Go for a top time and test your limits!

✔️ Non-Competitive Division – Complete the challenge at your own pace.

✔️ Team Division – Tackle the Murph Challenge together and split the reps among teammates.

• Bring a water bottle, comfortable workout attire, and plenty of Aggie spirit!
