Agents of Change Sexual Health Promotion, Risk Reduction and Prevention.
This practical based training is suitable for anyone working with groups or individuals on a one to one basis in order to promote positive sexual health as well as behavioural change.
This multi-agency training aims to;
• explain the rationale behind sexual health promotion in a variety of settings.
• identify target populations who are at greater risk of sexual ill health and strategies to reach and work with them.
• explore some of the barriers and difficulties in delivering and evaluating health promotion interventions and measuring outcomes.
• gain an overview of the change process and basic Motivational Interviewing interventions and techniques that may result in positive behavioural change.
