Geeks and Games AOS League July 11 - October 24
Each month we will use the following rules:
July: Spearhead armies and rules. This can be either the Fire and Jade pack, or Sand and Bone pack,
August: 1000 points matched play, including all advanced rules except for Manifestations. Seasonal rules will be determined once the 25-26 General’s handbook is released.. No unit can exceed 500 points.
September: 1500 points matched play including Manifestations and Seasonal rules. All units are available.
October: 2000 points matched play including Manifestations and Seasonal rules.
November Date TBD 3 round 2000 point tournament using the same matched play rules as September/October.
Each game played during the month earns 1 raffle ticket, win or lose, up to 4 tickets per month. Games played in the tournament can be used to make up missed games.
A $10 buy in per month for prize support. The exact prizes would be determined by the number of participants. Prizes will be gift cards to Geeks and Games so you can get what you want.
**Payment needs to be in cash, so come prepared**
When paying for the league, the tracker will list the date that payment is made.
When paying for the league, make sure the store employee writes this down. We will not be able to count payment that isn’t documented.
Payment must be made in the month of participation for the earned raffle tickets to count.
A $20 buy in is required to participate in the Tournament and will have a separate prize pool. A link will be posted to Best Coast Pairing for use in the tournament and payment needs to be made before signing up to Best Coast Pairing.
Outcomes should be posted in the AOS league channel in the Geeks and Games Discord. If neither player are using Discord, talk with Aaron to have the games posted.
Games where only 1 of the players are in the league count towards a ticket for the person in the league.
There is no painting requirement, though it is encouraged.
Prizes will be drawn after the tournament (date TBD). It is possible to get Tournament prizes for 1st through 3rd or best painted and win a raffle for the league.
