Celebrate aging. Challenge stigma. Capture the moment. For Alzheimer's awareness month, the Alzheimer Society Waterloo Wellington launched this visual storytelling exhibition on the theme “Age in Focus”, celebrates aging and, reflects on what aging looks like in our daily lives. It also hopes to challenge the stigma that often surrounds it. In keeping it open to the community's interpretation of the theme; we collected imaginative and thoughtful portrayals of what age means to people. These selections are directly from members of our community, and they reflect the love and care we share for others as we age.
There will be a small opening reception on the 19th from 6:30-8:30 pm.
