About this Event

BottledSnail Productions is proud to present Agatha Christie's Witness for the Prosecution, as part of the Victoria Law Foundation’s Law Week 2023.

Step into the trial of Leonard Vole, who stands accused of murdering a rich widow. The stakes are high with shocking witness testimony, impassioned outbursts from the dock and a young man’s fight to escape the hangman’s noose.

This site-specific and immersive production features counsel and lawyers direct from Victoria's legal industry and is set in the unique surroundings of the historic Old Magistrates Court, within Old Melbourne Gaol.

This production is to be staged as part of the Victoria Law Foundation's Law Week 2023. There will be a total of four performances, (including a matinee) with the season commencing on Thursday 18 May 2023 and closing on Saturday 20 May 2023.

Proudly sponsored by the Victorian Bar.

By arrangement with ORIGIN™ THEATRICAL on behalf of SAMUEL FRENCH, A CONCHORD THEATRICAL COMPANY.
