Agape Animal Rescue & Training Center is thrilled to announce the return of Agape Animal Ball! The return of Agape's grandest formal event will feature dinner, dancing, special performances, silent and live auctions, games and more. The unique, animal-themed masquerade event is being held in honor of the many animals and families whose lives have been changed through the Agape program over the past 18 years.Since inception, Agape has been able to rescue and rehabilitate more than 1,600 dogs. What sets our program apart from others in the community? The secret to Agape’s success over the years has been our intake, foster care, training and adoption processes. These processes have been proven by our 99% successful adoption rate. In many cases, the animals rescued have suffered abandonment, neglect and abuse, which is why the rescue organization is so dedicated to making a positive difference in their lives from the moment they enter the foster program.
For seven years in a row, Agape earned the title of Best Animal Rescue in Middle Tennessee by Nashville Paw Magazine’s Reader Choice Awards. In addition, Agape’s executive director, Tanya Willis, has been honored in the community as Middle Tennessee’s #1 Best Local Animal Welfare Advocate and received Nashville Paw Magazine’s Humane Hero Award. The rescue has been named one of the state of Tennessee’s top Preferred Placement Partners with national animal welfare organizations. Through those partnerships, Agape has helped save the lives of dogs that were suffering in large-scale puppy mills, hoarding situations, dog fighting rings and deplorable conditions caused by natural disasters. Agape is committed to helping those dogs emotionally, socially, physically...so that the transition into their forever homes will be as smooth as possible. The organization also works to educate the community about how to be responsible pet owners.

This year's Animal Ball may look a little different than previous years, with special attention to the health and safety of our staff and guests. Agape is working closely with vendors, venues, event planners to establish safety protocols and adhering to all CDC and Metro guidance. We will communicate all necessary measures, changes, and pivots to our guests and stakeholders along the way and look forward to hosting you safely.
