✨ Roots & Wings SEN Wind Down Club ✨Starting Wednesday 28th January
4:00pm – 5:30pm
Every Wednesday (apart from half term)
£2 per session
Kirkley church hall, St Peter’s road
Our Wind Down Club is a gentle, low-demand after-school space designed especially for neurodivergent and SEN children who need time to decompress after the school day.
What to expect:
Juice & biscuits
Calm crafts and activities�
Board games and free play
Sensory-friendly environment
No pressure, no forced participation
Parent-supervised with supportive volunteers on hand if you need to take a minute, have a brew and a chat with people who actually understand
This group is about regulation, safety, and connection not behaviour management. Children can join in, take breaks, stim, sit quietly, or just be.
Spaces will be limited so we can keep the environment calm and supportive.
