After School Art ClubStudent Will Explore Various Mediums & Crafts
Sessions Held Mondays, 4:15 pm - 5:00 pm Ages 6-12
This class is recommended for students 6-12 years old who are interested in having fun creating art and exploring various mediums, as well as some crafts. Experience not required, however an interest in the arts aids success. Age exceptions may be considered at the instructors discretion.
What to expect:
The class will explore different mediums and themes, for instance using pastels to create animal art, using watercolor for landscapes, etc. Additionally holiday or thematic ideas will be incorporated, for example pumpkins in October.
Description: Students who love "everything art" will explore drawing, painting, pastels, and other various mediums while developing their personal skill set and talents. Self expression and creativity will be fostered and encouraged in our weekly projects.This class is recommended for students 6-9 years old who are interested in having fun creating art and exploring various mediums. Classes are ongoing, meeting on Mondays from 4:15-5:00pm.
Fall Session II is a 7 week session that will begin on 8-19-24 and end on 10-7-24. The cost for this session is $130.00 This fee includes all materials & supplies. (This session spans 8 weeks with a holiday/no class on 9/2/24.)
(Please note dates may vary and sessions may begin and end on different dates and may not be sequential weeks due to holidays or other events. A session is equal to the number of classes listed above)

Preregistration is needed. Students will register/pay for each session individually. The session fee includes all art supplies.
What to wear & bring:
Wear something to be “creative and messy” in, as all mediums are not easily washable. Art aprons are provided however they are not preferred by some artists and accidents happen.
All art supplies are provided by the studio. Students should bring a water bottle/drink. A snack is also suggested.
Drop in classes are not allowed. However pro-rated registration maybe considered at the instructors discretion.
Studio doors will open at 4:05pm, those arriving early will have sketching/drawing and or coloring prompts and new project instruction will begin at 4:15pm. Please be mindful that at times some projects will take more than one week to complete, so the number of completed projects may vary. Our art classes provide a fun and creative environment that foster self confidence, kindness, friendships, inventive problem solving, and embracing everyones uniqueness, abilities and talents.
