In honor of the farm's bicentennial, we are hosting a traditional afternoon tea. As a nod to the farm's 1824 beginnings, we encourage (but do not require) period costume: long, loose dresses for women, knee breeches for men.The American tea culture was prevalent in that era within all classes. Practically everyone in the early 1800s drank tea.
The hors d'oeuvres menu will include three savory selections and three sweet selections. Beverages will include tea and lavendar lemonade.
All ages welcome.
Relax around the soothing koi pond and enjoy an old-fashioned afternoon tea while watching the alpacas graze nearby.
*Rain date is July 20th.
*Note: there is no public toilet facility.
*Note: there are dogs, cats and other animals on the farm.
