Wild Sparks - Outdoor Explore invites you to a fun woodland explore session at Cwm Talwg Forest School area.

Calling parents and carers, and familes, these sessions are for all ages, they provide a safe friendly enviroment, with a chance to explore the woods together.

The Power of Outdoor Play for familes

Outdoor time with your child supports healthy development by boosting physical skills, creativity, and emotional well-being. It encourages curiosity, social interaction, and a love for nature, helping your children grow in confidence.

What to expect

Here are just some of the exciting activities you can do at our sessions:

- **Bug Hunts**: Explore the outdoors and discover various insects.

- **Nature Walks**: Enjoy a stroll through nature while observing plants and wildlife.

- **Building Dens**: Get creative by constructing shelters using natural materials.

- **Rope Swings and Hammocks**: Have fun swinging and relaxing in the trees.

- **Mud Kitchen**: Engage in messy play by creating fun concoctions with mud and natural items.

- **Bird Watching**: Learn about different bird species and their habits.

- **Toasting Marshmallows**: Enjoy a tasty treat by roasting marshmallows over a fire.

How to Find Us:
The Forest School is just a short walk from the Cwm Talwg Pub. Follow the map, pass the woodland sign, past the bench, and take the path up to the Forest School area. Look for the bunting!

Free parking available on nearby streets and Cwm Talwg pub car park.
