Join us for an afternoon of poetry with Arthur Turfa! As our featured guest, Arthur will present work from his various books. After the featured presentation, we will break for refreshments, book sales, and socializing. All guests are invited to share for the open reading to follow!This event is FREE and open to the public. Arthur Turfa is a Lexington, SC-based poet/writer active in the South Carolina Writers Association. His poems have appeared in Carolina Muse Literary & Arts Magazine, The Petigru Review, The Lothlorien Poetry Journal; one was in the Top Ten for the 2019 Poetry Prize of The Pangolin Review, as well as in other publications. His most recent poetry collection is Saluda Reflections from Finishing Line Press, © 2018.The Botleys of Beaumont County on Blurb, ©2021, is his first novel. Epiphanies, his short story collection, was released in March 2024 from Alien Buddha Press.

Arthur’s careers as a Lutheran pastor, educator, and Army chaplain have provided him with
countless experiences and insights. He reviews books in several genres for the Tupelo Press and others. On addition, he is a Poetry Co-Editor for Eleventh Hour Literary Review from Binghamton University, a fiction reader for the Northern Appalachia Review, and is on the Editorial Board for The Petigru Review.
