AFTERNOON Art Camp: July 23-25, July 30-Aug 1 (Youth)

Get ready for summer at the Art Center Campus!

Our skilled staff will guide students through hands-on learning in our art studios using various media to create art, play games, and have a fun and friendly experience.

This camp is for kids ages 7-12.

Each day students will experience age-appropriate art techniques to make original artwork. Art camp sessions are two weeks, Tuesday - Thursday.

Morning session: 9:00 am – 12:00 pm.

Afternoon session: 1:00 – 4:00 pm.

Full-day registrations are welcome as the activities will be different. To reserve a full-day camp, you will submit two registrations--one for the morning session and one for the afternoon. Snacks are provided throughout the day; students attending both morning and afternoon must bring a cold lunch.

• June 4-6, June 11-13 (6 days)
• June 18-20, June 25-27 (6 days)
• July 9-11, July 16-18 (6 days)
• July 23-25, July 30 – Aug 1 (6 days)

Classes fill quickly, early enrollment is highly encouraged. Class sizes are limited to ten children, assuring plenty of individual interaction with the art teachers.

THE GILCHRIST LEARNING CENTER REGISTRATION & CANCELLATION POLICY

• Registration closes two days before the start of a class.
• Class sizes are limited and enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis. Unfortunately, the Gilchrist Learning Center is unable to prorate students for missed classes or classes they are unable to attend. The Gilchrist Learning Center strives to provide the highest quality art classes with various media for all ages. We value your feedback. • Inclement weather: It may be necessary to cancel a class during inclement weather conditions and warnings; a makeup class will be scheduled for cancellation due to weather.
• Course cancellation policy: The Gilchrist Learning Center may find it necessary to cancel a course or workshop if minimum enrollment is not met or other scheduling conflicts impact the class. If this occurs, registered students will be contacted and allowed to transfer to another class or be refunded the full course tuition and fees.
• Student cancellation policy: Students are eligible for a 75% refund of tuition if a request to withdraw is received by the Gilchrist Learning Center Education Department no later than 7 days before the first day of the course. Request to withdraw from a course, less than 7 days before the first class session will not be eligible for tuition refunds. This cancellation policy still applies for registrations received less than 7 days before the start of the course. Please email your request to withdraw to: [email protected] or call (712) 279-6580.
• Registration agreement statement: By registering for a course at the Gilchrist Learning Center, I understand and agree that I have obligated myself to pay for the courses and all other charges related to this registration. If registering by bank card, I authorize the Sioux City Art Center to charge my account the amount noted. If I decide to cancel my registration, I understand that the date I officially withdraw will determine the amount of refund, if any, I will receive.
