Join storyteller Darrin Crow as he shares Julia’s Escape, the story of two enslaved families fleeing to freedom with the help of the brave citizens of Salem, Iowa. Set in 1848, this powerful tale highlights courage, community, and the daring spirit of the Underground Railroad. Darrin last captivated the audience at the Activity Center in fall 2023 with his program on Edgar Allan Poe.
