Looking for a fun, hands-on project that’s both creative and practical? Join our resident artist Kim for this two-part workshop where you’ll design and create your own set of 15-20 ceramic buttons!Join us for two sessions (for one low price!) to get hands on in the full pottery process!
In the first session, Kim will demonstrate different techniques for texturing, shaping and styling your buttons. You’ll get to experiment with a wide variety of shapes—like fish, leaves, butterflies, and so much more. The more creative, the better! These little works of art are perfect for knitters, crocheters, sewists, or anyone who loves adding a handmade touch to their projects.
In the second session, you’ll return to glaze your buttons, choosing from a range of colorful glazes to bring your designs to life. Kim will have examples and ideas to inspire you and once you’ve glazed your buttons, we’ll fire them in the kiln. Your finished set will be ready for pickup 7–10 days later.-we will txt you when they are ready for pick up
