Join us in Term 2 and learn basic video game coding! This 4-week program will teach basic concepts like functions, branches, algorithms, variables, and game logic through a series of hands-on activities. Participants will also get access to Code Camp World to continue tinkering outside the workshop.
About the facilitator
CodeCamp is a Sydney-based children’s technology educator with over a decade of experience in teaching STEM to school-aged children in after school programs, holiday camps, and online. Their programs develop skills seen in the digital technology component of the National Curriculum, and provide opportunities for children to continue developing their new knowledge at home.

Equipment: All materials and equipment will be provided.
Experience: No experience required.
Spaces are limited, so bookings are essential. Please note that this booking will reserve a place for all 4 weeks of the program.

Terms and conditions:
- For participants under the age of 16, parents and/or guardians of children must remain in the library for the duration of the program.
- If you arrive more than 10 minutes after the advertised start time and there are people in the standby queue, your ticket may be allocated to the standby queue.
- If you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration at least 3 hours prior to the event. As Library Programs have limited spaces and repeated failure to notify staff of cancellations, bookings may be refused in the future.
