About this Event
This After School Art Club is for 5-12 year old elementary school students. Discover your creativity and learn to draw, paint and print in a small group setting. I bring 20+ years of teaching and art experience to the classroom, and love seeing little ones' faces light up when they have the chance to be creative.
At the Kingston Village Green Community Center, we welcome students to have fun and relax after school while learning art concepts and making fun projects. Drop in to one session and see if you like it, or purchase a 4 week class block and really dive in!
All the materials are provided for your student to create a project during the 1 1/2 hour session. We will start with some warm up exercises and then move on to a more directed lesson. Every 4 weeks we will practice a different topic from Drawing to Color to Printmaking and more!
Meet Your Teacher
Hi! I'm Dana Seeger. I have been an artist and educator for as long as I can remember. I have taught both adults and children for over 20 years. I just love seeing students' faces light up when they learn something new and discover they really CAN be creative. I live in Poulsbo, Washington and I have exhibited my paintings and prints nationally as well as won awards for my art and teaching to the community. I look forward to guiding your child to discover their inner artist!
