Kids can explore different types of art each week in this after-school series.Tuesdays beginning October 8, 4:30 – 6:00 PM for 4 weeks
Does your child enjoy the arts? Drop them off at the Gardens for four evenings of creativity and fun! Each week we’ll focus on developing different skills that they can continue practicing on their own:
Week 1: observation & drawing what we see
Week 2: painting in abstraction with acrylics
Week 3: fiber arts: weaving and yarn painting
Week 4: collage/mixed media and poetry using chance & randomness
Classes may be messy – please dress accordingly.
Designed for youth in grades 6-8.
Preregistration with pre-payment required.
