The League’s After Hours events are informal social gatherings that allow members to visit the offices of leading design practices and see work on the boards.
Ticket information and policies
Current Architectural League members receive a free ticket to this and other events throughout the year. To unlock your fully discounted member ticket or tickets, enter your Member Number in the ticket window when prompted for an access code.
In-person After Hours events are open only to current League members. By registering for this event, you consent to receive emails from the League and Urban Omnibus. You may opt out at any time. Additionally, by attending, you grant permission for the League to capture and use photographs and/or videos of you for promotional and archival purposes, which may include but are not limited to social media, newsletters, and website content. If you wish to opt out of being photographed, please get in touch with us before the event.
Event details
Design firm Leroy Street Studio was founded by Marc Turkel and Morgan Hare in 1995 on Leroy Street in New York City. Shawn Watts joined the partnership in 1997. Leroy Street Studio’s practice includes architecture, interiors, and construction management, with a diverse portfolio that spans residential, community, and institutional projects. The studio, in their own words, emphasizes “craft in construction and a collaborative design process.” Dedicated to participatory design, the firm also founded Hester Street in 2002, an independent nonprofit with a mission to improve the built environment for underserved New York City communities.
