AFSA New England is thrilled to offer our Connecticut area members a training seminar on Storage Fire Protection including Automatic Storage Retrieval Systems (ASRS) with special guest speaker Manny Silva, the Chief Engineer and Fellow for JCI's Fire Suppression Products business! CPDs included.
Manny has over 35 years of engineering experience and for the past 24years he has developed numerous products for use in fire sprinklers systems and is named on over 50 U.S. Patents related to fire suppression devices. In his current role Mr. Silva oversees the development of new fire protection products as well as the maintenance and improvement of existing products. He is a member of the NFPA 13, 25, and 1910 Technical Committees, the SFPE Educational and Scientific Foundation Board of Governors, UL Technical Committees 47, 199, and 2901, the NFSA Engineering and Standards committee, and the US Technical Advisory Group for ISO Technical Committee 21, Sub-Committee 5.
