The AfroLatino Festival was born in August 2011, with the mission to show and share with the Pacific Northwest the cultural richness of the ancestral fusion of two great races: Latinos and Africans, by presenting the multicolored splendor of that union through the sizzling pace their music, the incomparable flavor of their cuisine and sensuality of their dancing we celebrated every year ofsuccess with a wonderful community attendance.
The main objective of the festival is to bring unity to our communities thru entertainment, information, food and services to enjoy the cultural variety and Musical diversity, which characterizes Washington State. With the participation of local musical groups and different rhythms, Salsa, Merengue, Jazz, Fusion, Reggae, Folklore Dancers and many more; including music and dance workshops COMPLETELY FREE to attendees.
