The Afro-Caribbean Festival’s mission is to celebrate, showcase, heritage, and promote local and international talents from the Afro-Caribbean Diaspora.
The Afro-Caribbean Cultural Festival is a step towards the elimination of discrimination, racism, and prejudice, with a priority for those targeted against Indigenous Peoples, racialized women, and girls. It is festivals and events like these that are beneficial in promoting community support, multiculturalism, and anti-racism initiatives.
Afro-Caribbean Cultural Festival encourages positive interaction between cultural, religious, and ethnic communities and promotes the expression of Canadians' multiple identities.
The Afro-Caribbean Cultural Festival is committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive community that recognizes and celebrates all dimensions of diversity.
This interaction, through the inclusion and welcoming of diverse Canadians, will help to increase participants' sense of belonging and attachment to Canada.
