Afrikana's turning 10! And this year, we're doing things a little differently as we celebrate not only our decade milestone but also the 5th anniversary of the Taste of Liberation Dinner! It's been five years since we took our first liberated bite, and we're excited to bring the experiences of our last year in Dakar home to Richmond as we host our Taste of Liberation: Family Dinner, bringing authentic Senegalese and Southern cuisine to this family-style table.
Join us at 1708 Gallery for Family Dinner as we break bread for the finale of our A Month of Sundays program, and closing night of our Vintage Frames. Fresh Frequencies exhibition. And while it's a night of finales, as with all things, every ending leads to new beginnings, so get your spoons ready as Afrikana kicks off a new sacred journey.
