AFRIG also has membership for research students at ARU as well as associate members from other academic in the United Kingdom. AFRIG is a collaborative network that promotes research and scholarly activities that draw on African knowledge, systems, and themes.
The Conference
We are pleased to announce the second of the Africa Research Interest Group (AFRIG) with a face-to-face conference to be held in Chelmsford on 18 July 2024. Our theme for this year is “Curriculum Integration and Diversification and the role of the African academic.” This is to reflect the ongoing efforts in academia to diversify research, curricula and pedagogy and ask what the role of the African academic is in all this.
The conference will feature keynote presentations, research papers and poster presentations from scholars. There will also be a roundtable forum and panel discussions.
Please join us on this day as we introduce a bigger and better interactive conference with presenters from a range of backgrounds.
