Experience the powerful energy that ignites body and spirit, while clearing mind🔥
Dele will share with you his rich drumming knowledge from his motherland, Nigeria, and you will have the opportunity to play drums from his extensive, private collection.
Drums play an important role in every aspect of African life, including the physical, emotional and spiritual.
They are played to communicate, celebrate, mourn and inspire, in times of peace and war, planting and harvesting, birth and death and in many other ceremonies.
Through drumming, we connect with Mother Earth and the natural cycles of life, and we bring stagnant energy into movement, which is then released and transformed.
And great news for your hips!
The workshop will also include some basic African dance movements that are usually performed with drumming.
