AU's African American Read-in is part of a national Black History Month program dedicated to celebrating and elevating the voices of past and present African American writers. Join us as students, faculty and staff share work by some of our favorite Black authors, and as we welcome Atlanta-based writer Neesha Powell-Ingabire, author of COME BY HERE: A MEMOIR IN ESSAYS FROM GEORGIA'S GEECHEE COAST, to Augusta's Summerville campus. 10-11 AM: Guest Readers (Email [email protected] to participate.)

This event is free and open to the public, and will take place in the Coffeehouse room, located on the second floor of the Jaguar Student Activities Center.
