Join us on Friday, November 14 at 7:00pm for a FREE concert at Emerge Gallery & Art Center. Featured guest artist, Vincent Gray is an NC native musician and song writer. His humble beginnings started at his home church in Robersonville, NC where he was allowed to develop as a musician. His interest in music first began at an early age with drums, by watching his older brothers. Eventually, he grew to having a passion for the keyboard and organ. As a young teenager, Vincent was granted the opportunity to play and perform at numerous churches in Eastern NC. After graduating high school, he decided to broaden his knowledge and skills in music, and would attend Pitt Community College for two years. In 2018, he received his associate’s degree in fine arts music. He also spent time at the ECU school of music where he would develop his skills in classical, and jazz music. Vincent released his debut instrumental album entitled, “Simply Vincent” in the year of 2020. This album features Vincent playing every instrument, and showcasing his skills in arranging and production. Since then, Vincent has been featured on several recordings varying between gospel, jazz, and soul. Today, Vincent is still traveling across the state of NC performing, and touching lives through music.
