African American Cultural Experiences Trolley Tour
Join Newport News Tourism for a guided trolley tour exploring the city’s rich African American heritage. From historic landmarks to cultural sites, this tour highlights the people and places that have shaped Newport News.
Date: Saturday, June 28, 2025Time: 10:00 AM – 1:15 PM (Approx. 3 hours)Start & End Location: Downing-Gross Cultural Arts Center (parking available on site)Tickets: $20 (includes a special souvenir)

Age Requirement: This tour is for guests ages 5 and up only. Due to the trolley’s design, it does not have seat belts or accommodations for car seats, making it unsuitable for younger children. We encourage families with children 5 and over to join us for a magical evening celebrating the season!
