Join the African American/Black History Month Committee for a Proclamation Signing led by Col. Dan Cornelius, 75 ABW/CC, and Chief Master Sgt. Vernon Jackson, 75 ABW/CCC, at the BX (inside front area) on Feb. 6 from noon to 12:30 p.m. to kick off the observance month. Also, enjoy Open Mic Night on Feb. 12 from 6 to 9 p.m. at The Landing, featuring community participation in writing, singing, dancing, or any other form of expression, along with guest speaker Col. Stephanie Wilson, 309 MMXG/CC, at 6:30 p.m. This event aims to educate our community on African American/Black history with the theme: "Pieces of History - The Legacy of Black Excellence."
