Dit jaar zijn we enthousiast om het festival buiten te organiseren bij het prachtige Beton T Pavilion aan de Merwede-rivier in Parkwijk, waardoor er een levendige en meeslepende sfeer ontstaat voor iedereen. De festiviteiten beginnen met De Internationale Afrikadag op 25 mei in de hoofdgebouw van de Utrechtse bibliotheek. Dompel jezelf onder in een reeks boeiende workshops en adembenemende kunsttentoonstellingen in bibliotheken en buurthuizen van 25 mei tot 14 juni. We zijn er trots op 62 jaar van de Afrikaanse Unie te eren, die zich inzet voor gerechtigheid voor alle mensen van Afrikaanse afkomst! Dit festival markeert zes bijzondere jaren van Africa Safari in Utrecht en 15 jaar van de inzet van Stichting Beats Of Hope voor het transformeren van de levens van straatkinderen in Kenia en Uganda. We zijn hier om de rijke en diverse verhalen en tradities van Afrika te laten zien!
