Africa Missions Roundtable

Dennis Omondi is a missionary, theologian, and leader committed to equipping African pastors with sound Biblical Training. Born and raised in Kenya, Dennis has dedicated his life to strengthening the African church by providing accessible and relevant theological education.

He holds a Master of Arts in International Church Planting from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and an Honorary Doctorate by Breakthrough International Bible University in Nairobi, Kenya, in recognition of his work in pastoral training and leadership development in East Africa.

As the President and Founder of Empower Africa, Dennis train and equip pastors, church leaders, and ministry workers across East Africa. His work focuses on decolonizing theological education, ensuring that African pastors are trained in a way that is both biblically faithful and contextually relevant. Through Empower Africa Bible Institute, he has developed training programs and resources that provide practical, gospel-centered education to pastors in underserved communities.

As a sought-after speaker, Dennis regularly shares insights on missions, pastoral leadership, and effective theological training at conferences, churches, and leadership gatherings. He challenges missionaries and ministry leaders to rethink their approach to African missions, ensuring that their work is both effective and culturally respectful.

Dennis currently resides in Texas, where he continues to write, teach, and expand Empower Africa’s impact.
