To respond to the rapid changes taking place in the world and their implications for the African continent, African countries have launched a high-level pan African dialogue on global governance to organize their continent’s growing contribution to global affairs. The African dialogue on global governance addresses the continent’s contribution to international decision-making processes, her perspectives on the reform of global institutions and governance in multilateral institutions, and her advocacy for African common [policy] positions on contemporary global issues. The annual 2025 Africa Scholars Forum (ASF) at the John W McCormack School of Policy and Global Studies, UMass Boston, will engage a full-day conference addressing these issues.
