About this Event
AFL presents the next FREE class in their line up for the Adaptive Fitness Community...Original programming designed by Adaptive Fitness Trainer Devon of DPI Adaptive Fitness and co-leads Jeremy and Andrew, our partners in Adaptive Fitness offerings to our AFL Warriors!
This unique class will incorporate a high impact strength workout with the learning of some basic American Sign Language (ASL). It will require use of dumbbells (or comparable exercise adaptation) for a 45-minute, upper body and core focused high intensity workout. Participants may benefit from grip ability to participate effectively or with utilization of a grip aid. Benefits include: Improved endurance, upper body strength, and coordination; improved core strength and stability; increased cardiovascular fitness; and improved balance.
This is NOT an ASL class, the focus is on a strength workout while introducing participants to some ASL words at the same time. An ASL interpreter will be present at each class.
This sign up is for In person participation and virtual. Virtual participants will be emailed a link the day before class.
