About this Event
This 101 (part 1) session will include a tour of several local affordable housing projects and interactive discussions that go beyond the headlines to explore the nuances of affordable housing.
Our goal is to broaden the conversation by connecting participants’ day-to-day perspectives with the wider systemic challenges and opportunities in housing. We’ll give an overview of affordable housing, the communities challenges, and overall barriers to development in the communtity. This will be a chance to learn, share insights, and think together about new approaches that strengthen housing options for families and the workforce in our community. Lunch is provided.
