The 2025 Early Career Day will take place on 22nd January in Teagasc Ashtown.
Following the same format as last year, this year's edition will include two types of sessions: standard and discussion papers.Standard paper session: 10 min presentation + 5 min Q&ADiscussion paper session: 15 min presentation + 3 min discussant + 5 min Q&A
Abstract submissions from postdoctoral researchers and PhD students are welcome on economic and social research in the fields of agriculture, food, the environment and rural development.
Key conference highlights include:
- Presentations on economic and social research in the areas of agriculture, the environment, food and development from PhD students and postdoctoral researchers
- A panel session on 'Networking and Building Research Collaborations' (Dr Maeve Henchion, Teagasc, Dr Maura Farrell, University of Galway, and Dr Stacey Kelly, University College Dublin)
- The Bob O'Connor prize for the best PhD presentation.
