About this Event
Join us for Aerospace Connect, an engaging community event that brings together students, professors, researchers, founders, and industry professionals from the aerospace sector. This is an opportunity to network, gain insights, and foster collaborations in the exciting fields of space and aviation.
Highlight:
The highlight for the evening will be an inspirational talk from a dynamic start-up founder who has quite the story to tell. In his keynote, "Navigating the Ecosystem: Lessons in Scaling and Partnership", he will delve into his experience in scaling a startup in the highly competitive and regulation heavy aerospace industry.
From leading one of TUM's most prominent student teams, Bastian Behrens co-founded Blackwave in April 2016 and serves as the CEO, guiding the company’s culture and strategic vision. A creative generalist and skilled networker, he brings extensive experience in carbon composite manufacturing technologies across the aerospace and automotive sectors. Bastian earned his Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from TUM, where he developed his passion for innovative materials and their applications.
After the keynote address, we’ll open the floor for an interactive Q&A session, allowing you to engage directly with our speaker and ask any pressing questions you may have.
Startup Pitches
Following the keynote, we’ll transition into an exciting round of pitches from our latest startups. This segment is designed to showcase emerging innovations and keep you informed about the exciting developments in the pipeline. Each startup will deliver a concise 5-minute pitch, followed by a brief Q&A to keep the energy high and engaging. Get ready for an action-packed session filled with inspiration and excitement!
