What to Expect:
From the moment you arrive, you will be gently cradled in a soft aerial hammock, allowing you to fully relax and surrender to the experience. The support of the hammock will encourage deep physical release, promoting optimal alignment and allowing for a sense of weightlessness that helps to ease tension in your body. As you rest in the hammock, you’ll feel deeply grounded while floating, providing an ideal space for relaxation and inner reflection. This unique position enhances the parasympathetic nervous system response, further supporting the healing process and helping you access a deeper meditative state.
The experience begins with the offering of essential oils like sandalwood, blue lotus, royal amber, and Egyptian musk, alongside plant medicine such as red rose, mugwort, cacao, hawthorn, blue lotus, nettles, and damiana. As you settle into your hammock, these healing aromas and plant energies will guide you into a state of calm, preparing you for the journey ahead.
The session begins with shamanic drumming, leading into a Druidic-themed meditation to help you ground and centre your energy. As the rhythm of the drum fills the space, you will feel your body and mind synchronise with the natural world, enhancing your connection with the earth's rhythms and calming your nervous system.
As the sound journey unfolds, you’ll be enveloped in the deep resonance of the gong, whose fundamental tone and harmonics will move through your body, facilitating profound relaxation and opening your awareness. The unique combination of sound and the support of the aerial hammock will help to release physical tension and encourage a deeper sense of spatial awareness, allowing the gong’s sub-harmonics to penetrate the body and reset your nervous system.
The vibrations of the gong, Himalayan singing bowls, handpan, flute, and sound wings will support you in reaching a theta brainwave state, a deeply restorative space where you can connect with your ancestors and spirit animals. Floating in the hammock helps enhance this connection by encouraging a deeper sense of letting go and trust, inviting you to access ancient wisdom and spiritual guidance.
