During this intensive, we will analyse both static and dynamic techniques on straps and rope. We will focus on maintaining good body posture, allowing for healthier and more efficient movement execution, and we will learn how to build up our training so that attendees can continue working safely and independently in the future.
We will work on key technical postures, static transitions, foundational beats, pathways, spinning, and C-shaping.
Alongside this technical work, we will also dedicate time to creating choreographies or short choreographic pieces. By the end of the retreat, we will have the opportunity—if we wish—to perform and share our creative work with the group, or attendees can use these pieces in their own acts.
What is included in the retreat fee?
The course fee includes tuition, use of equipment and circus space, on site accommodation just a couple minutes walk from Palolem beach, nutritious food at Traverse Luxe Hostel, Palolem, Goa, and a fun group excursion to explore the beautiful nature of Goa.
