In this workshop we will look at lyra hoop basics and conditioning, as well as short sequences. We will look at intermediate poses if the skill level of the class is appropriate. We will also look at doubles poses
Longer shorts or leggings are recommended for comfort. Weightlifting gloves may be preferred as we use taped Lyra hoops. Water is recommended.
The Lyra hoop is a steel hoop suspended from a swivel that allows it to spin in the air. We have approximately 10ft ceilings so hoops are generally hung chest or waist high, though beginners can request a lower setting. We use 12-18" spansets on most hoops. We have 35-40" hoops available. Depending on the number of students in attendance, you may be sharing a hoop unless you bring your own.
Cancellation policy- no refunds, but cancellations can be made 24 hours in advance and you will receive a credit for another workshop with the same teacher.
