40 DAY Supply It Forward UpdateAs you may recall, on the last day of school, we kicked off our Community Impact Project (see pictures below for more information) which supports our next upcoming event, Supply It Forward. This event takes place on July 13, 2024 at Avon Middle School North for qualified students to receive school supply items for the upcoming school year.
AEF IS ANTICIPATING FILLING OVER 1000 BACKPACKS!!
Over the course of the last year AEF has taken a variety of steps to help fund this project. At the end of the school supply season (September 2023), AEF reached out to the Avon Target Store to inquire about their leftover school supplies. The Avon Target Store answered by graciously donating 7 pallets of various school supplies to help jumpstart our efforts. Then over the course of the last 9 months AEF has written many grants to acquire funds for this endeavor. As of today, we have secured close to $21,000 in funds for this project.
However, to fill 1,000 backpacks we will still need support from our community. We have a variety of ways for the community to participate. Please see the list below and consider supporting this cause as we truly try to embody the "WE ARE AVON WE ARE ONE" Philosophy!
