Join this upcoming family friendly event on Sunday, February 15, from 11:15 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in Fellowship Hall, as we gather to laugh and learn while we enjoy a potluck meal together. We are blessed to welcome Mr. Ricardo Galaviz from the Milwaukee LGBTQ Community Center, who will share helpful guidance on language, pronouns, terminology, what LGBTQ+ means, and how we can be supportive allies. This is a wonderful opportunity for people of all ages to grow in understanding and compassion as part of God’s call to love all people. Please join us for a warm, respectful conversation with plenty of time for discussion and questions. We look forward to learning together as a community of faith. If you would like to support the Center in an added and appreciated way, bring a hygiene product donation. Needs include shampoo, conditioner, body wash and face wash, deodorant, shaving cream and razors, toothbrushes and toothpaste, mouthwash, dental floss, hairbrushes and combs, menstrual products, hand sanitizer, nail clippers, lip balm, socks, and undergarments. The Milwaukee LGBT Community Center has been providing vital services to the LGBTQ+ community for over 25 years that include counseling and support, older adult and teen groups, trans and non-binary services, and a lending library, food pantry, and boutique, to name just a few.
