Ae Fond Kiss. On January 17, join 100 Floors Above (the folk duo of Robin Guy and Scott Richardson) for an evening of Scottish songs, ancient and modern, to benefit the Interchurch Refugee Group. It will be an early Burns Day celebration, featuring many of Robert Burns' familiar songs. But also expect the unexpected: we're pairing the 18th-Century bard with some modern Scottish songsmiths. Simple Minds? Big Country? As folk music? Join us Jan 17 to find out. Admission by donation at the door (suggested $20). A portion of proceeds will help the IRG with their ongoing refugee sponsorship projects. The concert takes place at 7:30 p.m. at Orleans United Church (OUC is one of five east-end churches that support the work of the IRG).
