Wear your best sparkling black and white attire and celebrate the start of spring with the grand opening of Adán López Alemán’s Solo Exhibition at Lilienthal Gallery. For the First Friday of April, the expressive Spanish artist will be visiting Knoxville for a live painting demonstration. Best known for evocative black and white portraiture, López will showcase what he calls “soul painting.”
He has exhibited all over the world, including ArtBasel Miami, SOFA Chicago, and Galerie Alaux in Valencia. His work is in the private collections of footballers Achraf Hakimi, Jorge Resurrección, and Munir Mohamedi. Recently, he was honored with the “Estrella de la Cultura 2024” of the Canary Islands.
