Take your fresh veggies and herbs from the backyard to the kitchen with these simple recipes.In this hands-on session of Adventures in Urban Farming, we will learn how to turn your garden vegetables and herbs into delicious additions to your everyday diet. Using your produce in a variety of ways helps cut down on waste and is a great way to live more sustainably. We will be making three different recipes in this workshop: quick-pickled red onions, pepper sauce, and vegetable pasta. Take home your creations and their recipes so you can enjoy them every season or even make some for your friends and family! No registration or supplies are needed - we will provide the materials. This workshop is best for adults and teens, but no experience is necessary.
