About this Event

This is a 25–44 Adventure from Meeting Mutuals, part of our January Adventures (Beta).

We’ll meet at Movement Gym (Slabtown) for a casual, social climbing hang designed to be welcoming whether it’s your first time or you’ve climbed before. There’s no class, no instruction, and no pressure to perform - this is about showing up, moving a little, and connecting naturally.

You’re welcome to climb, watch, chat, or take breaks as needed. Many people come solo and find this is a surprisingly easy way to meet others because there’s always something to do or talk about.

What to Expect
  • 6-8 people
  • Indoor bouldering gym setting
  • Optional climbing at your own pace
  • Supportive, friendly group energy
  • Time to connect before, during, and after climbing

You don’t need to be “in shape” or experienced - curiosity is enough.

Who This Is For
  • Ages 25–44
  • People curious about trying climbing in a social way
  • Anyone who likes activity-based connection
  • First-timers looking for a non-awkward meetup

Why “Beta”?

This event is part of our January beta, an intentional pilot phase where we:

  • Keep groups small
  • Experiment with formats
  • Prioritize comfort over crowds

Beta events are often the best way to experience something early and give feedback to shape it into something you can enjoy even more in the future.

Is There a Host?

There is no formal host for this adventure.

You’ll find your group using the meetup instructions emailed to you through Eventbrite the day before the adventure. Adventures are designed to feel natural and peer-led rather than structured or guided.
