Get ready for an overnight adventure through one of the most scenic gems in the region—Pere Marquette State Park. Located just north of St. Louis on the Illinois side, this ride combines small-town charm, riverside beauty, and a bit of fall magic.
We’ll start at Bike Stop Cafe in St. Charles, cruise the Katy Trail, ride some back roads, and hop on not one, but multiple ferry rides across the Mississippi and Missouri Rivers. We’ll be fully loaded with everything we need to camp in the park overnight—then head back Sunday with a surprise stop at an orchard for some fall treats.
What to bring:

✔️ Bags or racks for your gear
✔️ Tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad
✔️ Cookware + food for two days
✔️ A sense of adventure and maybe a sweet tooth
