The first Mezcal Bar in the southeast, Gallo Pelón offers an intimate mezcal tasting experience. Their bar is beautiful, exciting, and intimate with a style representing the Colombian heritage of its owner, Angela Salamanca.
We welcome you into our beautiful space to guide you through a curated mezcal tasting. Four different agaves will be presented by our mezcal ambassador with tasting notes and commentary on their individual origin, production and tradition.
The pallette of mezcal is vast and well enjoyed alongside ernest food. We’ll be exploring these diverse flavors with a complimentary garnish tray and a personal nacho “ignacio” plate to enliven your stomach and deepen your experience. Even if you don’t fall in love with the bold flavor of mezcal your first time, we promise you’ll leave with a greater appreciation and knowledge of the world’s rarest and most amazing spirit.
