Adventure Hub - a place where we come to hear epic inspirational stories and meet new adventure friends. For our tenth instalment, we are set to be entertained about a kayaking journey on the mighty Indus river by local star kayakers Harry Hassleman and Will Payton!Originating in the Tibetan plateau 4500m above sea level and amongst some of the highest mountains on earth, the Indus river gathers a huge volume of water which has a long way to fall – often violently! This huge volume whitewater is some of the most difficult in the world and combined with the logistics of an expedition in Pakistan makes for some truly wild tales. Harry and Will are local Queenstownians and incredible kayakers and speakers, so be prepared to be awed and catch a whole bunch of laughs along the way.
Program:
6:30pm: Event kick off and crowd chats
7:00pm: Presentation (45 mins + 15 mins questions)
8:00pm: Beer and hang outs
Donations:
We pay fuel costs and shout dinner for our speakers who come and spend their valuable time regaling us with their tales, so please be sure to donate at the event, so we can continue to feed our speakers and keep Adventure Hub running. A donation hat will go around at the half time break, so please bring some coins and notes along
