About Our Workshop:What: AFA's Intro to Biking workshop enables participants to learn multiple skill-based progressions and ride a bike independently.
Who: Individuals aged ten and older, with intellectual and/or developmental exceptionalities, such as Autism, Down syndrome, processing disorders, anxiety, ADD/ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, and more.
Where & When: October 14th-20th at Coler MTB Preserve (with 2 days off in between)
Schedule:
October 14th: 3:30pm - 6:30pm
October 15th: 3:30pm - 6:30pm
October 16th: OFF DAY
October 17th: 3:30pm - 6:30pm
October 18th: 3:30pm - 6:30pm
October 19th: OFF DAY
October 20th: 8:30am - 12:30pm
Our Process: Our biking program's methodology is progressive, and we have reverse-engineered the process so that exceptional individuals can succeed. We begin with instilling self-trust and confidence and systematically chain all the necessary variables and reactive skills needed to ride independently.

- Bikes will be provided by Adventure For All
- Each session has plenty of breaks for various mantra and affirmation exercises, arts and crafts, yoga, and other social activities.
